Distilled from 100% sugarcane molasses on the island of Negros in the Philippines and aged in American oak casks at the foot of Mount Kanlaon, Don Papa Baroko brings the tropical character of Sugarlandia to the glass.
On the nose, ripe vanilla, fresh citrus and muscovado sugar meet toasted coconut and crème brûlée. The palate is smooth and rich, with candied tropical fruit, honey, vanilla cream and a touch of dry oak spice, finishing long with dried dates, raisins and toasted oak.
Ideal neat, over ice, or as the base for a tropical cocktail.
