Pinot Noir-led and built with real structure, Bollinger’s rosé carries more weight and richness than most, in keeping with the house’s reputation for fuller-bodied champagne. Red cherry and redcurrant fruit lead on the nose, backed by a firm, savoury finish rather than a purely fruity one. It’s made using a similar approach to Bollinger’s other wines, with a good measure of reserve wine for depth. A champagne that holds its own alongside food rather than one built purely as an aperitif.
